The MiniMax® 100 heater is a compact, self-contained unit with an output of 100,000 BTU?s and a high 82% thermal efficiency that keeps operating cost low while directing more produced heat to your pool instead of into the outside air..
MiniMax features a patented thermostatic bypass valve which minimizes condensation-related calcium scaling and corrosion preserving heat transfer efficiency, quiet, dependable operation from proven burner system and a service-friendly design that includes a bronze header system for long life and union connection fittings for fast draining and easy weatherization.
Equipped with an electronic direct spark ignition for automatic control, and designed tobe connected to either a 230 volt or 120 volt 60 Hz power source (field changeable).

- MiniMax's thermal efficiency is designed to operate as close to 100% as possible for minimum operating costs! This is achieved through an optimum combination of high-tech heat exchangers, unique combustion chamber design, burner assemblies and materials, and state-of-the-art heater insulation.
- Computer Controls - The MiniMax's fully electronic operation provides "intelligent" controls that sense water temperature and pressure for optimum flow control.
- Burner System - Natural Gas [NAT] or Propane [LPG]; features Pentair's long-life corrosion-resistant stainless steel burners for long, corrosion-free life, plus a integrated vent top for efficient combustion and exhaust for optimum ventilation and safety. Bronze headers for added durability
- Ignition System - The MiniMax 100 offers the user-friendly DirectSparkT electronic ignition system for optimum performance. Simply connect to any 220 VAC or 120 VAC power source (cable not suplied).
- Flow Control - Patented flow valve with long-life power element minimizes condensation, erosion, and scaling.
- Combustion Chamber - High-tech ceramic fiber tile insulation located inside the clean burn combustion chamber ensures quick water heating; cool-to-the-touch exterior.
- Cabinet - Maintenance free, metal construction, provided by a weatherproof powder-coated finish over top of an anodized aluminum exterior. Low-profile design with rounded corners for pleasing appearance.
- Installation - The MiniMax 100 comes ready for use with all major brand pool/spa automatic controls, with easy service access to all controls behind hinged access doors.
- Easy-to-install 1-1/2" NPT connections for easy installation, combined with a compact profile and a small unit footprint. Designed with universal connections that can be directly connected to recommended schedule 40 CPVC or ABS pipe 40 PVC pipe, MiniMax is compatible with most pre-existing or new installations.
