MoodEFX by Balboa is the pioneer of color light programming technology and is the world's first color changing retrofit LED light suitable for all hot tubs and spa with existing 12 Volt light bulbs. The patented technology uses a microprocessor to intelligently mix light color to produce stunning array of light shows. Including saturated fixed color, soothing color washes, cross fades, and bold strobe effects.

Will retrofit any 12 Volt standard hot tub light. To fit the unit all you do is remove the existing wedge based 12 V bulb and clip in the EFX LED bulb. Controlling the color effects is done via your existing light switch. Turning it on and off quickly, cycles through the different options of light shows.

Cost effective and energy efficient! These bulbs are rated for 11 years of continuous use.

Light Shows Provided

Slow Color Wash-Color transition gracefully from color to color cycling through the entire color wheel (approx 3 minutes for complete cycle).
Fast Color Wash- Same as the slow color wash but complete cycle takes 1 minute.
Slow Random Color- colors jump from one color to the next in random order. Each color duration lasts approx 10-15 sec.
Fast Random Color- same as the slow random but duration lasts 5 sec.
High Speed Random Color- A rapid series of intense flashes of varying light colors.
Cross fades- Color cycles back and forth gracefully between blue and green. Total cycle last 1 min
Fixed Color- Static display of a single color. Available colors include: White, pink, lavender, light blue, dark blue, light green, dark green.
